International’ Season 4, Episode 18 Promo Sees the Team in a Race Against Time as the Embassy Is Attacked

The job continues even as FBI: International gears up for the series finale early next month. In the all-new episode airing on April 15, the team heads to the Eastern European country of Georgia, where a military training center has been attacked. “The Fly Team heads to the country of Georgia to determine the motive behind an attack that targeted two American soldiers at a NATO-Georgia joint training center before it turns into an international incident. Meanwhile, a supervisory position opens in another FBI division in Europe, and Mitchell (Jesse Lee Soffer) encourages both Vo (Vinessa Vidotto) and Raines (Carter Redwood) to apply,” reads the logline for FBI: International Season 4, Episode 18, “Lone Wolf,” teasing the case and a significant change in the Fly Team’s composition. CBS released a sneak peek of the episode, previewing the team’s attempt to determine the reason behind the attack.
The video below teases a multi-stage operation in which the suspects launch an attack on the military training center to divert attention from their real target: an embassy. Wes and the team dive into the case, and his instincts tell him something is wrong with how it is presenting itself. “I think the bad guys set a trap, and we walked right into it,” he says. A team of nine guys breach the embassy and hold some people hostage, including Wes’ friend Agent Booth (Jay Hayden). The bad guys have demands and give the team ten minutes or they’ll raze down the embassy. This case is quite delicate because it involves military alliances reaching most parts of the world. If NATO gets involved, a full-blown war breaks out. Can the team stop it?
The Fly Team Prepares to Disperse as ‘FBI: International’ Ends
The logline teases some changes in the team as Vo and Raines angle for the same promotion. Since FBI: International was canceled, this could be the show’s way of preparing for the end as the members pursue other opportunities. But before that happens, the team will go on another hunt in the two-hour series finale that takes them to Japan. “When an American student and sex worker is murdered in Budapest, similarities to a recent case in Japan lead the Fly Team to partner with detectives from Tokyo,” reads the logline for the first part. In the second part, “The Fly Team discovers they’re on the trail of a serial killer, taking the investigation, and Mitchell, to Japan to put an end to the international killing spree.” The series finale airs on May 20.
Stay tuned to Collider for further updates, and watch FBI: International on Tuesdays before next month’s finale.
