We’ve got good and fine news for fans of Brilliant Minds and Found. The good news is that both titles received impressive viewership numbers and positive feedback from audiences during the 2024-2025 season. The fine news is that neither has been given the go ahead for a follow-up season. We call this “fine” and not “bad” because there’s still plenty of time for the powers that be to get it right. One of those powers is Warner Bros.’ head of TV, Channing Dungey, who, in a recent conversation with Deadline, teased an “optimistic” push forward for both titles.

“We don’t know yet,” Dungey said about the uber-popular NBC productions when asked about their possible continuations. Despite things still being up in the air, Dungey was able to give those of us on the outside an inside look into how things were progressing behind the scenes, adding,

“They’re going through all of their internal deliberation processes. We have presented a Season 2 overview for Brilliant Minds and a Season 3 overview for Found and got great response from the creative teams on both. We’re optimistic.”
