12 Actors We'd Love To See Appear -

WARNING: SPOILERS ahead for The White Lotus season 3.

These twelve actors and actresses would be phenomenal in The White Lotus season 4 based on their previous roles and outstanding acting talent. Although details for The White Lotus season 4 are still tightly under wraps, series creator Mike White hinted that he would like to get away from the usual “crashing waves of rocks vernacular” that made previous seasons signature and iconic. The White Lotus has only featured a small handful of recurring characters across seasons, meaning that season 4, like the cast of season 3, should introduce a whole new slate of hotel resort guests.

Based on how The White Lotus season 3 finale ended, returning characters Belinda and Greg (Gary) are both able to return in future seasons after Belinda struck a deal that made her a millionaire. There has also been talk of a reality TV competition show-inspired “all-star” season of The White Lotus, which is sure to happen at some point, if not in season 4. White, who was famously a contestant (and near-winner) on Survivor season 37 and has starred in films like School of Rock and Orange County, would also be a great casting choice for his own Emmy-winning TV show.

Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm would be perfect in The White Lotus. Not only is he charming with leading-man looks but he’s also hilarious in comedic roles such as 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm. His versatility and range as an actor could make him either a likable hero or a convincing villain. His recent roles in Landman, The Morning Show, and his new Apple series Your Friend & Neighbors demonstrate that he’s very active on the television front. A White Lotus season with Hamm would also be a major draw for those who haven’t seen the series.

Toni Collette

Another veteran actor with impeccable range is Toni Collette. Known for playing all sorts of roles from horrified mothers (Hereditary) to a maniacally rich woman (Mickey 17), Collette would surely create one of the best characters in the history of The White Lotus. Most of her work as of late has been in film but she has recently starred in The Staricase (2022), The Power (2023), and the podcast series Madam Ram (2025). No matter who Collette would play in The White Lotus, her character would be exceptional.

Woody Harrelson

Woody Harrelson was already cast in The White Lotus season 3 before having to back out due to scheduling conflicts with a planned family vacation. Harrelson is a legend in both film (Natural Born Killers, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and television (True Detective, Cheers) and is always incredibly likable and impactful. A show like The White Lotus feels as natural of a fit for Harrelson as Jeff Bridgers was for The Big Lebowski. Harrelson would have played Sam Rockwell’s season 3 character, Frank.

Laura Dern

Laura Dern has already “appeared” in two season 2 episodes of The White Lotus. The voice of her character, Abby Di Grasso, can be heard over the phone in season 2, episodes 1 and 7, similar to how Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan voiced a character in The White Lotus season 3. She could return as her season 2 character, which would be fun, or be recast in a completely new role, which might allow her more freedom with her character. Regardless, Dern would be fantastic for The White Lotus aesthetic.

Alexander Skarsgård

Alexander Skarsgård has already starred in a handful of HBO series, such as True Blood, Pretty Little Liars, and Succession. Since he’s already deep within the HBO family, he seems like a great candidate for The White Lotus season 4, especially if it were to take place somewhere in Eastern Europe. Despite playing brutish warriors like Amleth in The Northman and an android in the upcoming Apple series Murderbot, Skarsgård can be very funny in the right roles (his IMDb profile picture offers proof of his sense of humor).

Greta Lee

Greta Lee has garnered much popularity and acclaim in recent years for her outstanding role in the Oscar-nominated Past Lives and appearances in celebrated Apple TV shows such as The Morning Show and The Studio. She has already passed the up-and-comer threshold, starring in the upcoming Tron: Ares film, but would likely still consider prestige TV series like The White Lotus. Lee can bring a lot of grace and relatability to her roles while also being both dramatic and hilarious.

Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott is an outstanding actor who would flourish in The White Lotus. Evidence of his versatility can be found by watching Netflix’s Ripley and the celebrated film All of Us Strangers starring Paul Mescal back to back. Scott first rose to prominence after starring in Fleabag and Black Mirror. His ability to carry a certain weight and darkness in some of his roles, particularly Ripley (for which he received an Emmy nomination), would make him an ideal villain in The White Lotus. He could also play a more tender, funny character with his impressive range.

Alison Brie

Alison Brie has been on many fan wishlists for The White Lotus and she continues to be for good reason. Known best for her bubbly roles in Community and GLOW, Brie is also a strong dramatic actor who has starred in Mad Men, Promising Young Woman, The Lego Movie, and more. Brie would likely best play a bright and cheery character in The White Lotus, similar to season 3’s Chelsea. She does have some serious talent in dramatic roles as well, which would make her character a perfect wildcard.

Ben Mendelsohn

Fans of Netflix’s Bloodline series will remember Mendelsohn’s outstanding performance as Danny Rayburn, which won him an Emmy and three nominations. Bloodline, which takes place in an idyllic coastal hotel in the Florida Keys, feels like an audition tape for Mendelsohn in The White Lotus. It was impossible to take your eyes off Danny’s self-destructive character, which Mendelsohn could take inspiration for in The White Lotus. While he can play heroes and anti-heroes very well, he’s also a spectacular villain, as seen in Andor and Rogue One.

Sophie Wilde

Sophie Wilde would be a great fit for a younger visitor, likely a daughter, in The White Lotus season 4. Known for her roles in Talk To Me, Babygirl, and Boy Swallows Universe, Wilde is one of the best modern actresses under 30. She only has a handful of acting credits to her name, starting with 2021’s Eden, and The White Lotus would be a great addition to that list. Her distinct aesthetic would fit in perfectly with that of The White Lotus and would also be a great platform for her career.

Taylor Kitsch

Taylor Kitsch is known for playing gritty characters, often soldiers, as seen in American Primeval and The Terminal List. While he excels in action and war genres, he would be great in a more laid-back White Lotus role. He rose to prominence in the classic football TV series Friday Night Lights and went on to star in the HBO series True Detective season 2. Kitsch doesn’t play too many characters like those often seen in The White Lotus, so this would be a very interesting change for him.

Kaia Gerber

Kaia Gerber started as a world-famous supermodel before landing her first TV role in American Horror Stories and American Horror Story (2021). This led to movie roles in films like Babylon, Bottoms, and Saturday Night. She’s fresh off season 1 of the Palm Beach-based Apple series Palm Royale starring Kristen Wiig, which also starred The White Lotus season 3 alum Leslie Bibb. Given her social media fame (nearly 10 million followers on Instagram), she could be The White Lotus season 4’s version of season 3’s LISA or even season 1’s Sydney Sweeney.
