One Piece Chapter #1146 Release Date And Time

One Piece Chapter #1146 is set to be a significant installment, as the Straw Hats are going to face a formidable enemy without the support of the monster trio. This will finally give fans a chance to see how the rest of the crew measures up in strength without Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. While it’s a crucial moment for the remaining Straw Hats, it will also provide an opportunity to gauge the power of God’s Knights, whose presence has remained shrouded in mystery.
That said, the most intriguing part of the upcoming chapter may not be the confrontation itself. Loki has begun to reveal details that are bringing his character out of the villainous shadow cast over him since the arc began. With these elements, One Piece Chapter #1146 is going to be a fruitful chapter, promising action and lore reveal. However, fans will have to wait a bit longer as there is going to be a break next week.

What Happened in One Piece Chapter #1145?
As Loki Recovers and Promises To Reveal More Lore, Gunko Confronts the Straw Hats
One Piece Chapter #1145, “Wildfire in Forest Sector 2, Branch Route 8”, shifts focus away from God’s Knights’s chaos and spotlights events in the Underworld area of Elbaph, where Sanji and Zoro are seen grabbing food with Goldberg for Loki’s recovery. After hunting down a large dinosaur, they return and present the meal to Loki, leading to a slapstick comedic exchange between him and Luffy. As Loki begins to recover after eating, he reassures Luffy that he’s not lying about Shanks and praises Luffy’s admiration for the Red-Haired pirate.
This leads Loki to reveal that he, too, admired a pirate during his childhood. Though only shown in silhouette, the hints strongly suggest that he is referring to Rocks D. Xebec. The chapter then shifts to the Giant Warrior Pirates and Scopper Gabban, who work to contain the havoc caused by God’s Knights. While they succeed in subduing the giant monster, they fail to stop the children marching toward the raging wildfire.

One Piece Continues To Feature Similarities Between Loki and Luffy
Much Like Luffy, Loki Had Also Admired A Pirate
Loki’s character, since the start of this new arc, has been depicted as a notorious villain, accused of killing his father. The new chapters of the latest arc constantly reinforce this notion, to the point that it feels forced, possibly suggesting that beneath the dark demeanor being portrayed, there might be another side to him, or that Loki is not what he’s being made out to be. This theory began to gain traction after his first encounter with Luffy, as Luffy, who approached him, didn’t sense the usual presence of evil he typically feels from villains.

During that encounter, Loki also claimed to be the Sun God who would bring an end to the world. His connection to the Sun God made it evident that the series was building a link between him and Luffy. This connection is further emphasized in the latest chapter, where Loki reveals that, much like Luffy, he had also admired a pirate since childhood, clearly referring to Rocks D. Xebec. This revelation strengthens the idea that there are many similarities between Loki and Luffy and that Loki may not be the villain everyone believes him to be.
Perhaps the connection this arc is forming between Luffy and Loki is meant to be parallel. However, in Loki’s case, the outcome has already been shaped: unlike Luffy, he was possibly betrayed by the pirate he admired, leading to a path of continuous failure. This suggests that Loki will eventually become an ally to Luffy, helping push him toward a dream that Loki himself could never achieve due to unfortunate circumstances.
What Will Happen in One Piece Chapter #1146?
Without the Monster Trio, the Remaining Straw Hats’ Strength Will Be Challenged
Considering this arc has yet to showcase the Straw Hats in full action, One Piece Chapter #1146 has a strong chance of delivering just that. This time, however, their action will carry extra weight, as their opponent is a member of God’s Knights, figures who are likely ranked even above the Navy Admirals. This confrontation will serve as the best benchmark to test the strength of the remaining Straw Hats without Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. It’s clear that Jinbe will take the lead, with Nami and Usopp expected to follow.

While action is inevitable, the chapter also presents an opportunity to delve deeper into the lore surrounding Loki and his connection to Rocks D. Xebec. So far, Rocks has been portrayed as the most notorious pirate in history, and with Loki bringing him up, the stage is set for a deeper exploration of his legacy and influence. With both a potential dive into Rocks and Loki’s backstory and the Straw Hats stepping up to confront Gunko, One Piece Chapter #1146 is shaping up to be a pivotal entry that could set the tone for the rest of the arc.

Created by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece is a multimedia franchise that began as a manga series and follows the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates as led by Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy, an enthusiastic pirate with a thirst for adventure, is afflicted by a mysterious curse that gives him various powers he uses to protect himself and his friends. The manga eventually gave way to the anime series, with the two being some of history’s longest-running anime and manga series. Along with over fifty video games made over the years, the series entered the live-action world with Netflix’s 2023 adaptation.
