Warner Bros. Boss Addresses Plans for the 25th Anniversary of ‘Gilmore Girls’

“Never say never,” Gilmore Girls fans. That’s the advice from Warner Bros exec Channing Dungey in an interview with Deadline. The hit WB series celebrates 25 years this year, and as for plans for another revival, nothing has been announced. But, as Dungey says, “we’re excited to be commemorating the milestone.” The series, ever beloved, already had a reunion of sorts in the form of a Walmart Holiday commercial late last year. Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, and Sean Gunn all appeared in the commercial. This only fueled the fire ahead of the show’s 25th anniversary. The series, which ran from 2000-2007 already has a four-part revival. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, debuted on Netflix in 2016 to mixed fan reaction, but could the “never say never” mean more could be on the horizon?
