D&D Neverwinter: Red Harvest – Release Date, Battle Pass, Packs, New Trial & Zone, & Returning Events

The free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG, Neverwinter, just announced its 31st expansion module, Red Harvest, which will be coming very soon for all players. This expansion DLC will add an all-new zone, trial of multiple difficulties, a fresh battle pass, and more to the game, proving that this 12-year-old game set in the magical worlds of DnD is still going strong. The free MMO is known for allowing players to explore the city of Neverwinter and surrounding lands based in the Forgotten Realms setting while battling iconic enemies and seeing the familiar tabletop world come to life.
This latest expansion module to Neverwinter builds on the story of Red Wizards as featured in the movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves while providing a depiction of the land of Thay inspired by the film. Using the bold new location for Neverwinter, players can explore the very heart of Thay after an agent of the Harpers discovers a sinister plan that could threaten all of Faerûn if it isn’t stopped quickly. This exciting storyline comes alongside returning in-game events as well as plenty of new bundles, packs, and items for sale.
Despite similar names and themes, the Neverwinter MMO is not part of the Neverwinter Nights series.

Neverwinter’s 20th Module: Sharandar introduced three fearsome Hags the players must defeat, and the brutal Annis Hag is a developer favorite.
In addition to the new zone, Neverwinter: Red Harvest also adds a new Trial called The Shackles of Divinity. This trial brings a return to the mechanics-driven boss battles that Neverwinter‘s most epic and infamous trials are remembered for. Three trial difficulty levels are included, so players can enjoy pushing their limits at whatever skill and level they find themselves at.
- Normal Mode: Accessible to all, part of the Random Trial Queue.
- Advanced Mode: A bit more difficulty for those who find Normal too simple and want to test their strength.
- Master Mode: The biggest challenge for the most skilled adventurers, requiring players to make use of game mechanics more than brute force.
Trials in Neverwinter requires teams of multiple players, although those who choose to play solo can queue to join groups of others and take on the challenges alongside them.
