More than a month after its premiere on Netflix, the Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham-created Adolescence has continued to break records, becoming the streaming giant’s third most popular English TV show of all time. Adolescence dethroned the Evan Peters-led Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story to clinch third place with an impressive viewership count.

With 124 million views, Adolescence has secured third place in the streaming service’s all-time English TV show viewership list.
Additionally, as revealed by Netflix’s Tudum, the limited series earned the No. 2 ranking in this week’s English TV list with 9.7 million views.
Released on March 13, 2025, Adolescence revolves around the story of 13-year-old Jamie Miller, who is arrested by the authorities on suspicion of murdering his schoolmate. As things unfold, more and more secrets see the light of day, further complicating Jamie’s situation. The series puts special emphasis on how the ordeal affects Jamie’s family, whose life turns upside down following his incarceration.
The psychological crime drama series has garnered overwhelmingly positive reactions ever since its release, boasting a critic score of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. The show’s favorable reviews seem to have actively contributed to its success on Netflix, as evidenced by the continuous rise in its viewership count.
