Peter Dinklage has a pounding headache, and his only hope of getting the help he needs is to appeal to the big boss — Kevin Bacon. A chaotic new teaser for Macon Blair‘s upcoming remake of The Toxic Avenger was just released by Nerdist and introduces the Footloose star’s soulless CEO, Bob Garbinger, who has precisely no care for his longtime employee, Winston Gooze. The new spin on the gory Lloyd Kaufman Troma classic follows the down-on-his-luck janitor as he discovers he has a terminal illness and hatches a scheme to rob the company he works for to pay for the treatment and provide for his son. However, his plan also eventually leads to the accident that turns him into the violent, superpowered, mop-wielding vigilante, and the new footage teases how his diagnosis sends him down that path.
