'Ahsoka' Goes Retro For Season 2 Trailer at Star Wars Celebration -

Though during the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration, Dave Filoni, chief creative officer of Lucasfilm, kept a tight lip on what to expect during Ahsoka Season 2, which begins filming in a week, but it would turn out that he was just going to let a teaser at the end of the panel do the talking. The trailer featured a recap of Season 1 of the Rosario Dawson-led series as well as what to expect for Season 2. The teaser was in an 80s inspired style. It was inspired by retro advertisements for the sequel to A New Hope, long before they’d filmed anything for Empire Strikes Back. The concept art-filled trailer featured a voiceover teasing the conflict between the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant.
