The Wheel of Time Season 3 is now streaming on Prime Video in its entirety, and showrunner Rafe Judkins is already looking forward to Season 4. Although it’s yet to be officially renewed, it’s heavily expected that The Wheel of Time will get the chance to come back for a fourth season. The show has been a major hit for Prime Video throughout its first three seasons, even standing with some of the biggest shows on the platform, like Alan Ritchson’s Reacher and Bosch: Legacy. During a recent interview with EW, Judkins spoke about the future of The Wheel of Time, and even mentioned what he thinks gives it a leg up on another iconic fantasy franchise, George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones:

I can say that we’ve put a lot of pieces in place at the end of season 3 to tell some of the most iconic stories from book six, which is a really important book in the series, and some of the biggest moments from book five as well. So we’re in the area of the books right now that is some of the most exciting. One of the great things about Wheel of Time the book series is that it is sort of a reverse Game of Thrones. It gets better as it goes on. And so that’s what television is always about, is getting better as you go. And I think modern television sort of runs the risk of shows coming in with a big poppy movie-ish idea at the beginning and then petering out a little bit as they go through the seasons. But the great shows of television past really hit their stride in season 3 and 4, and I think that’s what this show in this series has the potential to do and just keep getting better from here. So we’re all very eager to continue this story and finish it.

This Season 4 update comes not long after star Josha Stradowski, who plays Rand al’Thor in the hit Prime Video series, provided an update on the future of the show. Stradowski said he and the cast and crew were “optimistic” that there would be more Wheel of Time in the future, and his co-star, Daniel Henney, also said that they were extremely happy with the product they’ve produced through three seasons. Also starring in a lead role in The Wheel of Time is Rosamund Pike, who plays Moiraine Damodred. Pike is an Oscar nominee for her work in Gone Girl (2014), and she’s also known for her roles in Tom Cruise’s Jack Reacher (2012) and Pride & Prejudice (2005). Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) also stars in The Wheel of Time, alongside Zoë Robbins (Evidence 111), Marcus Rutherford (County Lines), and Hammed Animashaun (Black Ops).

What Else Is Streaming on Prime Video Right Now?

Viola Davis’ new action movie G20, with Antony Starr, has been the most popular project on Prime Video this week, with The Wheel of Time, Bosch: Legacy, and Reacher all holding spots in the top five as well. Kevin Bacon’s new horror series, The Bondsman, debuted in the top spot before slipping to #5, but it’s still ahead of House of David and The Accountant. On Prime Video’s digital purchase chart, Jason Statham’s A Working Man has claimed the top spot, even holding off the new Marvel movie, Captain America: Brave New World.

All episodes of The Wheel of Time Season 3 are now streaming. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the series and watch The Wheel of Time on Prime Video.
