CD Projekt Red will be utilizing the Nintendo Switch 2 upscaling feature for Cyberpunk 2077 when the console is released, according to an interview with the company. The sci-fi RPG starring Keanu Reeves as a literal ghost in the machine will be getting a Nintendo Switch 2 version as a day-one launch on the platform. This marks the first time that the game will be available on a Nintendo console, and porting it over gave the developers a chance to use the console’s integrated upscaling feature.

Even with the Switch 2’s more impressive capabilities than its predecessor’s, bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to the console is no easy feat. Prior to the console’s official reveal, many speculated that it would be using the Nvidia DLSS technology, and CD Projekt Red has now confirmed this to be the case. Speaking to Eurogamer, the company revealed that they’re “using a version of DLSS available for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, powered by Nvidia’s Tensor cores.
