Daredevil & Bullseye Team-up for Born Again Season 2 Teased by Writer

Daredevil: Born Again writer Dario Scardapane’s recent comments about Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye have made fans wonder whether the villain will team up with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in Season 2. The finale of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 raised questions regarding Bullseye’s whereabouts after he tried to assassinate Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.

Dario Scardapane hints at Bullseye and Daredevil’s team-up in Born Again Season 2

Dario Scardapane recently sat down for a chat with TV Insider about the upcoming Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, shooting for which is currently ongoing in New York.

While he discussed various things like a possible Defenders reunion and more, Scardapane mentioned a key detail regarding Bethel’s Bullseye in Season 2. The interviewer asked whether Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye, will become a “potential ally” to Daredevil in the next season.

To this, the writer had a cryptic reply and said, “I’m answering your question with kind of a vaguery, but a lot of the fun of where we left things in the finale is that you see Bullseye looking out a broken window. All of those people that you checked in with at the end, there’s a central question. Everybody’s got to pick a side, which side are they going to end up on? And that’s a huge part of what’s coming down the road.”

Scardapane referred to the situation in the finale in which Fisk put a curfew in NYC and set up an Anti-Vigilante Task Force to go after the vigilantes. As per Scardapane’s comments, this will lead to characters having to pick a side between the vigilantes, aka the resistance, or Fisk’s administration.

Previously, a photo from the set of Daredevil: Born Again also went viral, in which Bullseye was seen in his suit standing next to Daredevil. This has further raised speculation that Bullseye might side with Daredevil against Fisk.
