Katey Sagal and her husband first met one another through a mutual friend.
Recalling their initial encounter in a 2009 E! News interview, the actress noted, “He called me like a couple months later and asked me to coffee, and we went and kind of never left each other after that.”
After an undisclosed dating period, the couple tied the knot in October 2004 in a private ceremony in their Los Angeles home. They then welcomed their one and only child, Esmé Louise, via surrogacy in January 2007.
