Fans believe Joe Jonas is “perfectly fine” with Taylor Swift‘s diss track about the singer. The Jonas Brother star dated the record-making pop star in 2008. While the duo’s relationship was short-lived, fans claimed that Swift made a track about him in her re-recording of the 2008 album, Fearless. Years later, Jonas has indirectly reacted to the song, thanks to a fan’s comment on TikTok.

Joe Jonas replies to Taylor Swift’s lyrics about him

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift have been friendly for years, and fans think the singer is aware of the latter’s diss track about him. Jonas recently shared a TikTok of his time in London looking dapper in a grey suit.

A fan commented, “so dignified in his well pressed suit” on the Fastlife hitmaker’s TikTok, the line taken from Swift’s track, “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” the song that is allegedly about him. Jonas replied to the comment, stating, “Thanks for noticing,” prompting fans to speculate if the singer is aware of the song’s lyrics and participating in the joke willingly.

Previously, former wife of Jonas, Sophie Turner, “trolled” the singer using Swift’s diss track. The Game of Thrones star attended the Jonas Brothers concert at Yankee Stadium in August 2023. She shared a sneak peek of her time at the concert on Instagram, which included a close-up shot of her friendship bracelet that read, “Mr. Perfectly Fine” (via People).

Even before that, Swift and Turner bonded over the track when the latter shared the song on her Instagram story, writing, “It’s not NOT a bop” in 2021. Swift reshared the Instagram story, writing, “Forever bending the knee for the (queen) of the north.” Interestingly, Turner’s story featured the lyrics, “so dignified in his well pressed suit.”

Meanwhile, Swift was candid about the Joe Jonas influence on her Fearless album on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2008. When Ellen asked if there’s any song about Joe Jonas in her 2008 album, the “Cruel Summer” crooner replied, “There’s one (song) that’s about that guy. That guy is not in my life anymore, unfortunately.” Swift included the track “Mr. Perfectly Fine” in the re-recording of Fearless, which was released in 2021. In Fearless TV (Taylor’s Version), Swift shared six “vault tracks” in total.
