What Happens If You Kill Your Workers In Schedule 1

As you progress through Schedule 1, you will eventually come to the point where you can hire workers. These workers play a vital role in the daily operations of your business and keep everything running smoothly. However, it will cost you if you fatally discipline them for not working.
You will have a few options when hiring workers, including Schedule 1 Botanists, Packagers, Chemists, and Cleaners. Each one is necessary when you’re a drug lord. Unfortunately, it is a delicate system that needs to be tended to with care or else you may suffer the consequences.
How To Kill One Of Your Workers
When Discipline Becomes Murder
Once your farm is automated, you may notice your worker isn’t doing their job. As there could be a few reasons for this, before anything, you should ask them why they’re not doing their job. It could be as simple as them running out of materials or not having been paid. Sometimes, hitting them can get them to start working again. Keep in mind that if you use a melee weapon to deliver this kind of punishment, you might end up with a dead body on your hands.

The reputation you have with customers, dealers, and suppliers is important in Schedule 1, as you gain more profit from people you are friendly with.
When you use a baseball bat, hit them with regular swings, and they will be knocked unconscious after the third hit. However, hitting a worker with a charged-up swing by using the left mouse button will cause them to pass out after being hit twice. Stars floating above their heads will indicate that they are just unconscious and not dead.
When you use the machete, it will take two hits to kill them, regardless of whether you charged the hit first. When it comes to ranged weapons such as the revolver and M1911, it takes two shots to kill someone. Surprisingly, when you run one of your workers over in a vehicle, they don’t die, no matter how many times you run into them.
Consequences Of Killing A Worker
Don’t Do The Crime If You Can’t Do The Time
Oddly enough, when you kill your workers, there are no real consequences, at least involving the police. Another bonus is that once you end the day, the game automatically takes care of the dead bodies for you, saving you the hassle of disposing of them yourself.
One obvious consequence is having to go back to Manny and repay the hiring fees so you can replace the workers you lost. This includes the hiring fee and the daily wages, which add up quickly. Once you’re so far in the game and probably have disposable income from laundering money, this might not be that big of an issue, but it’s still inconvenient.

The vehicle you get in Schedule 1 will depend on various factors including your playstyle, your funds, and what you value most in your empire.
Police will get involved if you repeatedly run over your employees with a vehicle. After running them over three times, you may notice “investigating” at the top of your screen. By the fourth time, the police are pulling into your driveway, lights flashing, and guns out. If you attack the police, they will attack back, resulting in either your arrest or death. If you kill the first unit of police that arrives, another unit will sometimes show up within seconds. However, it appears that if you kill both units in Schedule 1, no other police will come after you.
