Star Wars Rerelease & The Accountant 2 Can’t Beat Sinners

The Accountant 2, Until Dawn, and the rerelease of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith couldn’t beat Sinners at the domestic box office this past weekend.

Ryan Coogler’s Sinners took the top spot at the domestic box office for the second weekend in a row. It made an additional $45 million, which is only a six percent drop from its first weekend, bringing its domestic total up to $122.5 million.

Star Wars took second with $25.2 million — a highly impressive figure for a rerelease — while The Accountant 2 came in slightly below Revenge of the Sith with $24.4 million, per Deadline. Until Dawn, meanwhile, came in fifth with $8 million.
