The popular South Korean series returned with its second season on April 25, 2025, on Netflix and went on to become one of the most-watched shows on the platform. The story focused on Park Ji-hoon’s character, Yeon Si-eun, and his journey at a new school after the events of Season 1. Is Weak Hero Class 3 renewed or canceled by Netflix?

Currently, there is no official information about whether Weak Hero Class has been renewed for Season 3 or whether it has been canceled.

Weak Hero Class ended with a massive clash between the Union and the boys of Si-eun’s new school, Eunjang High. The Union is a syndicate involving multiple school gangs that engages in criminal activities and forces small school groups to join them to widen their influence.

After the clash between The Union and its leader Na Baek-jin, Eunjang High School emerges victorious with the efforts of Si-eun, Baku, aka Park Hu-min, Gotak, aka Go Hyeon-tak, Seo Jun-tae, and the students of Eunjang High. Thus, their win leads to the Union getting dismantled.

Season 3 of Weak Hero Class has not been announced, however, the post-credits scene leaves some room for more action. In the end, Cheongang leader Choi asks Geum Seong-je to take over The Union.

While speaking about what he expects for his character next if Season 3 happens, Ji-hoon told Screen Rant, “I did give next season some thought. Because of how everything kind of ended nicely in Season 2, I thought about how Si-eun was always on the side of justice. He always had a strong moral compass, so what if he loses his friends in Season 3 because of some things that happen, and he goes rogue? That would be a whole new twist to the story and a whole new narrative.”
