The Horsemen are back — and they’re not coming alone. Lionsgate pulled off a little cinematic sleight-of-hand today by officially unveiling the trailer for the long-awaited third chapter in the Now You See Me saga: Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. (Seriously, how did it take them three movies to use that title?)

Set to hit theaters on November 14, 2025, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t brings back fan favorites Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, along with longtime stars Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman. But they’re not working alone: the sequel introduces a new generation of illusionists played by Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt, with Rosamund Pike joining the series as the new villain audiences will love to hate. The official synopsis teases a familiar but refreshed formula:

“The Four Horsemen return along with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists, turns, surprises, and magic unlike anything ever captured on film.”

The trailer got its first airing at CinemaCon earlier this month, where Collider’s Britta DeVore was on the ground to report back, and the description pretty much matches what we see on screen. Eisenberg’s character recruits a group of newcomers for a huge trick — stealing the “heart diamond” from Pike’s morally corrupt character. After pulling off a major heist with help from the original team, the Horsemen reunite to take down a global criminal organization. So, yes — it’s classic Horsemen mayhem, only bigger, shinier, and with even higher stakes.

Will There Be More ‘Now You See Me’ Movies?

The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer, and he will also be returning for more, as he is already locked in to develop and direct a fourth installment of the globe-trotting, mind-bending franchise. Following the sneak peek at CinemaCon, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Adam Fogelson praised Fleischer’s work on the sequel, saying:

“Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way. We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and are thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”

Stay tuned — this fall, the Horsemen aren’t just returning. They’re planning their greatest trick yet. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t opens in theaters on November 14, 2025. Check out the first trailer for the movie above.
