Based on Jefferey Deaver’s 2019 novel The Never Game, Tracker is an action-drama series created by Ben H. Winters. The show stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist and tracker who helps find missing people for law enforcement using his past trauma and instincts, as well as the help of his handlers and friends. Besides Hartley, the series also stars Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene.
Tracker was a bit of a surprise hit when it premiered on CBS in February 2024, receiving largely favorable reviews and high viewership numbers. A second season debuted in October 2024, which has also had strong ratings, though its reception hasn’t been quite as good as the first. An old-school action procedural, the show is anchored by Hartley’s charismatic performance in the lead role. While its first season is better than the second, both seasons of Tracker are quite entertaining, with interesting characters and just the right mix of serious and silly.

Based on the eponymous novel by Hernán Casciari, The Best Heart Attack of My Life is an Argentinian miniseries. Inspired by true events, the show stars Alan Sabbagh as Ariel, a ghostwriter who suffers a life-threatening heart attack in a foreign country, forcing him to rely on strangers for help and leading to a transformative experience. The show, created by Pablo E. Bossi, also stars Olivia Molina, Rogelio Gracia, Romina Peluffo, Imanol Arias, Brian Maya, Rita Cortese, and Eleonora Wexler.
The Best Heart Attack of My Life premiered in January 2025 and has received generally favorable reviews. While the story can be uneven, it still has enough charm and warmth to keep you invested. The show is fairly simple (and at times formulaic) but ultimately rewarding experience. Easily one of the most underrated shows of the year, The Best Heart Attack of My Life is a deeply self-reflective and life-affirming watch.

Perhaps the best compliment that can be paid to Snowfall is just how ironically addictive it is. With each passing episode, as the intricate story dives deeper, the show becomes impossible to turn off, with twists and turns aplenty making for gripping viewing. Created by Joel Church-Cooper, Going Dutch is a Fox sitcom starring Denis Leary as the arrogant and loud-mouthed Army Colonel Patrick Quinn. After an offensive rant, Quinn is reassigned to the Netherlands to lead the “least important Army base in the world,” where he attempts to restore discipline. To make things worse, he has to work with the base’s former leader, his estranged daughter Maggie. Taylor Misiak plays the Colonel’s far more open-minded daughter, Captain Maggie Quinn, with Danny Pudi, Laci Mosley, Hal Cumpston, Dempsey Bryk, Joe Morton, and Catherine Tate in key supporting roles.
Going Dutch premiered on Fox in January 2025, receiving largely favorable reviews from critics, with comparisons to the short-lived sitcom Enlisted. Going Dutch has received praise for its deliciously irreverent comedy and easy-to-watch nature. It has the potential to be a long-running comedy favorite.
