Meghan Markle Apologizes for As Ever Mishap

Meghan Markle has issued an apology following an unfulfilled order mishap at the launch of her lifestyle company, As ever. The brand’s Limited-Edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb sold out so fast that it created a shortage, and many shoppers didn’t get their product despite confirmed orders. This prompted the As Ever team to send an e-mail to their patrons, which included an apology from Markle.
Meghan Markle shares apology note for As Ever mishap
Meghan Markle’s As Ever had its product launch earlier this month. The demand for the Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb was extremely high, and it sold out quickly. Many customers couldn’t get their products even though their purchase was confirmed. As Ever acknowledged the blunder in an e-mail they sent out, promising these customers would get a refund and a gift of their choosing. The e-mail also had an apology note from Markle, and since then, several of the e-mail recipients have seemingly shared screenshots of it on social media.
“My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you so much for the support. It really means so much to me,” Markle wrote, adding, “I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey. Please know the team worked very hard in every department and felt just as sad when we learned what had happened.”
The Duchess of Sussex went on to promise that these customers would receive the next limited-edition product when it launches. She assured fans that they wouldn’t even have to place an order. “It will come to you in the mail as a gift from me,” she explained.
Markle then offered her customers another thanks and promised, “so much more goodness is coming soon.”
Aside from launching the As Ever products, Markle recently debuted her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
