Gravitt’s first official credit was in the short film House Call in 2013 at the age of 10. From there, she signed onto the TV movie The History of Us, directed by Happy’s Place director Pamela Fryman and co-written by Modern Family producer Dan O’Shannon. Gravitt was 14 when she made that movie and then on year later, she picked up a role in one episode of the TV series Walk the Prank. That led to her eventual breakout.

Other than two minor credits in 2017 and 2018, it took Gravitt until 2020 to land her next big role. This came in the Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere, based on the bestselling novel by Celeste Ng. The series boasts a hugely impressive cast, with names like Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Joshua Jackson, and Rosemarie DeWitt. As for Gravitt, she starred as April Jarvis, Izzy’s (Megan Slott) former best friend, who Izzy ostracized when people caught them making out and Izzy claimed April sexually assaulted her.
This led to her true breakout, as she took on the role of Ellie Brannock in The Watcher, a Netflix miniseries based on the novel by Reeves Wirderman. She plays the daughter of Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale’s Nora and Dean, a couple who buy their dream home only to find someone tormenting them and going by the name “The Watcher.” According to Gravitt, she got the role at the last minute, and it was a surprise (via FabTV):
“It was interesting, because it was last minute. It was, ‘You got the part. You gotta go.’ So, just moving to New York for six months, it was insane, but I had my family with me so it was great.”
