TMZ reported that singer Toni Braxton secretly tied the knot with rapper Birdman on August 8, 2024. However, court documents revealed that Braxton filed for divorce shortly after, with their separation date reportedly listed as August 10, 2024. The filing described their marriage as “irretrievably broken.” Furthermore, the shared documents used only their initials, “T.B.” and “B.W.”
Surprisingly, by January 2025, Braxton went for the divorce petition’s dismissal, which Birdman agreed to. This means they perhaps are still legally married—but are they still a couple? Despite the legal status of Toni Braxton and Birdman’s marriage, the reports and signs suggest their relationship may be over. Neither has been seen wearing wedding rings recently, and both have scrubbed photos of each other from their Instagram accounts.
For those unaware, their romance dates back to 2016, when Braxton leaned on Birdman during her lupus battle.
