Before The 90 Days Season 7?

\90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans were in for a shock when it was revealed that Veah Netherton had not only gone on a Disneyland date with her dog sitter David Lee Chairez, but she’d also married him. Veah is a 26-year-old from Florida who worked as a massage therapist when she flew to Durban to meet her 26-year-old boyfriend, Sunny Mahdi. Veah met Sunny on an international dating app. Sunny was attracted to Veah’s hair and fell for her when he found out Veah and her seven siblings were separated because Veah’s parents struggled with addiction issues.
Meanwhile, Sunny was originally from Bangladesh and had moved to South Africa to work for his dad, who he’d barely seen when he was growing up. Sunny and Veah had cultural differences that threatened to end their relationship. Sunny did not follow the rules of Islam himself, but he wanted Veah to convert before they could marry. It was Sunny’s father’s wish, and Sunny was blindly following it. In the end, Sunny was supposed to come to the U.S. on a K-1 visa, and Veah was supposed to fly to Bangladesh to meet Sunny’s family, but nothing of that sort happened.

Sunny had been carrying an engagement ring even before Veah arrived, unsure of what the future held. Her refusal to convert to Islam left him conflicted, as faith was an important part of his life. Still, rather than make a final decision, he chose to follow his heart and face challenges as they came. After two weeks of growing closer, he took Veah to a picturesque waterfall and proposed. Veah, touched by the depth of their bond, confessed that what they shared felt truly special—something she doubted she would ever find with anyone else. Their connection felt undeniable.
Sunny knelt down and asked Veah to be his partner, and she joyfully accepted, thrilled at the thought of spending her life with the man she loved. Though engaged, Sunny chose to keep the news from his father for the time being. As the couple discussed plans for Sunny to move to America with Veah, she encouraged him to be honest with his family. Eventually, they met with Sunny’s father, who reacted strongly. He called it “unacceptable” that Veah wouldn’t convert and demanded that Sunny make a painful choice—between staying loyal to his family or committing to his future wife.
Veah Married Her Dog Sitter, David
Veah Had Gone To Disneyland With Him
The communication issues between Veah and Sunny took a wild turn when she didn’t tell him that she had married her dog sitter and continued dating him as if nothing had happened. Veah surprised Sunny by taking Rory along. She also surprised him with news of her secret wedding. Sunny and Veah had temporarily broken up after she arrived in the U.S. following their engagement. During this time, Veah went to Disneyland with her dog sitter, which made Sunny upset. Veah insisted it was a simple date and nothing happened between them.
The truth came out after the Tell All episode aired when blogger 90dayfiance_alexa reported that Veah was now married to the man who was originally introduced as her dog sitter during her trip to Durban. “Turns out Veah married her dog sitter,” the blogger remarked. The man, identified as David, is both a part-time military member and a police officer. A marriage record shared by the blogger revealed Veah’s full name as “Navaeh Fierce Netherton,” and confirmed that the marriage license was issued on September 23, 2024. The unexpected turn of events surprised many who had followed her earlier relationship story.
Veah Has Been Struggling With Her Health
Veah Has Brain Tumor
It appears Veah’s decision to marry David had been influenced a lot by how he treated her during her toughest times. Veah was diagnosed with a brain tumor before she flew to South Africa. A neurologist suggested she do lymphatic draining after she came home, but her medical professional used a massage gun on her lymph nodes, which she believes has caused shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, spitting up blood, loss of mobility, severe weight loss, and other symptoms. In her interview with InTouch, Veah revealed she had “strengthened” her “relationship with God.”
After hitting “rock bottom” during her health struggles, Veah shared that she was now living her life “by the scriptures.” When Veah finally posted a photo of her husband on Instagram, she expressed deep gratitude for having a man who “puts God first,” prays over her, and embodies patience, kindness, and a Christlike nature. Veah later posted another photo of David, seemingly taken at a naval base, and shared that he felt he was “supposed” to marry her. Despite not understanding why, especially with her being “so sick,” he continued to “pray and pray” for clarity and guidance.
Are Veah & Sunny On Good Terms?
Sunny Was In The Dark About Veah’s Marriage
90 Day Fiancé blogger Kikiandkibbitz questioned Veah, writing, “Congrats on your marriage and all, Veah—but why lie about your relationship with the ‘dog sitter’? Not just to fans, but ALLEGEDLY to Sunny too!” The blogger posted an image of Veah and David’s marriage application, showing the license was filed on September 23, 2024, and became effective on September 26, 2024. To back up their claims, the blogger also reached out to another “cast member,” who confirmed that the Tell All special was filmed in October 2024—after Veah had already applied for a marriage license with David.
According to Sunny (via Shabooty,) Veah only confessed to being married on November 17, 2024. When he asked why she lied, she allegedly said she did what she “had to do to be on TV.” Sunny also claimed that Veah took money from him to file his K-1 visa through an attorney. When he later asked for the money back, she said she didn’t know how to make an international transfer. Despite his offering a simple solution, Veah allegedly blocked him and disappeared. “I guess I can officially say I got scammed by Veah,” 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Sunny remarked.
