Legacy’ and ‘Wheel of Time’ Displace Alan Ritchson’s ‘Reacher’ From Prime Video’s Top Five
Alan Ritchson’s Reacher had a good run atop Prime Video streaming charts, but it’s officially been dethroned by two newer arrivals. The third seasons of Bosch: Legacy and The Wheel of Time are set to conclude later this week, and although it took until days ahead of their respective finales, both series have officially pushed Reacher out of the top five in Prime Video’s chart. Bosch: Legacy sits in the #4 spot at the time of writing, with The Wheel of Time following closely behind at #5, leaving Reacher sitting outside the top five at #6 for the first time since before the Season 3 premiere. However, all three shows fall behind The Bondsman, the latest supernatural horror series starring Kevin Bacon and Beth Grant.
Reacher is the only show in Prime Video’s Holy Trinity that has officially been confirmed for a fourth season. It’s still up in the air for The Wheel of Time, which has not yet been canceled but has also not been renewed, but it’s already been announced that the third season of Bosch: Legacy will be the last. The Wheel of Time Season 3 has been a major success for Prime Video, which has a history of renewing shows shortly after the season finale, so the big announcement for The Wheel of Time is likely coming sometime in the next week or so. Alan Ritchson is currently in the middle of filming his new action movie with Owen Wilson, Runner, so it’s unknown when Reacher Season 4 will begin production. There’s also the Neagley spin-off to contend with, which will reportedly slow down production even further.
Which Show in Prime Video’s Top 10 Has the Highest Rotten Tomatoes Score?
Between all three shows competing for a top-five spot on Prime Video, Reacher’s most recent season holds the highest Rotten Tomatoes score at 98% from critics. It also sits at 74% from audiences. Following closely behind is The Wheel of Time Season 3, which earned a 97% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% from audiences. Bosch: Legacy has not received enough reviews to earn a Rotten Tomatoes score from critics, but it does sit at the highest audience rating of the three shows at 87%.
