Devlog #8 – Holidays, Logos & Level Showcases news – Rhythms of Revolution!

It’s been a festive week with the team enjoying some well-earned holiday time, spending it with their families (and maybe a few too many chocolates). Even with the break, progress hasn’t stopped entirely. We’re preparing to show off some exciting updates, including a new logo idea and individual level slices for a school project that reflects the graphical expectations for our game.

This week, the team took some time off to rest and recharge. With Easter in full swing, most of us headed home to spend time with family, celebrate, and eat enough chocolate to sustain us through the next crunch. But don’t worry, while the bunnies were hopping, we weren’t completely idle!

🎨 Logo Concept

I’m excited to share another concept for our game’s logo! That brings us to three potential designs so far. Next week, I’ll be setting up a form where you can vote on your favorite. We’d love to get your thoughts and see which one speaks to you the most, because after all, this is for the players, too!

📍 Level Polish for School Showcase

In parallel with our main project, each team member has been working on polishing a part of a level for a separate school assignment.

These individual-level slices will soon be presented, and I’ll be posting them here as well! It’s a great way to give you all a preview of the visual direction we’re aiming for with the game’s environments. Think of it as a mini behind-the-scenes peek into our world-building process!

While the week may have been slower due to the holidays, the passion hasn’t taken a break. We’re excited to jump back into full swing next week with more updates, visual progress, and that all-important community feedback on our logo!
