A brand new and mysterious Star Wars show is in development from Carlton Cuse, co-showrunner of Lost, and his son Nick Cuse.

Per Variety, the Star Wars series is early development, but no other details are available at this point. The plot, casting, timeline, and character details remain a mystery. Carlton Cuse will follow fellow Lost creative J.J. Abrams into the Star Wars universe, with the latter having directed both Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. His Lost co-showrunner Damon Lindelof was also, at one point, attached to co-script a new Star Wars movie based on the character of Rey, but has since departed the project. This show will see the first collaboration between Cuse and his son.
