Breaking Down the Unnecessary Hate Towards Kylie Jenner -

The Kardashian/Jenner family has been in the public eye ever since the iconic Keeping Up With The Kardashians first premiered back in 2007. The show was such a hit right off the bat because it highlighted them as a family. The good and bad times, the struggles, hardships, relationships, and laughter. Fans have always enjoyed watching this family because of the great entertainment that has always come along with it. Still, sometimes, people have to take into account the extreme amounts of hatred that they all receive for simply living their lives.

When the show first started, Kylie Jenner was just a kid. As the years went on and the show became more popular, Kylie and the rest of her family received more and more hate from the media and people online, and it just never seemed fair for Kylie, especially, to be on the receiving end because all she does is try to live her life and mind her business.

Because Kylie was only a child when the show first started, she never had a say or control over being filmed or when she would be filmed. She was too young to have a strong voice over her and Kendall Jenner constantly being filmed despite being children just wanting to live their childhood. She practically grew up with a camera in her face at all times. The show was so successful because fans loved watching their family just be a family, and with Kylie and Kendall being so young, the realest and most entertaining moments stemmed from them with their parents and big sisters. It was inevitable. She definitely did not have a normal childhood or teenage years due to always being in the public eye.

When Kylie was going through her teenage years, she adopted the iconic “King Kylie” phase. This was basically Kylie posting aesthetically pleasing photos on her social media of her and her friends, her jewelry, her cars, and the overall lifestyle of being a teenager in that type of world. She was scrutinized by the public for simply living what should have been the most fun years of her life. Every detail that anyone could have shamed her for, whether it was seen on the show or social media, Kylie was on the receiving end. During her teen years on the show, people loved to comment on her “sour” attitude or the fact that she always wanted to be with friends rather than family, as if she acted any differently from any other teenager in the world. Teens are rebellious and moody, but because Kylie is a public figure in one of the most famous families in the world, she is the easiest target. She was not doing or posting anything that warranted such nasty opinions from people. She was a kid having fun living life.

Kylie Has Always Been Unfairly Judged

Kylie has always seemed to mind her business. When she was pregnant with her daughter, Stormi Webster, she kept the entire pregnancy a secret. She hid from the paparazzi, did not post anything online, and did not even announce she was having a child until after Stormi had already been born. That is enough proof right there that she minds her business and stays in her lane, so why are people constantly gossiping and judging her? Kylie carries herself well, and it is obvious that her priorities are her family, her daughter, and her businesses. Yet, despite Kylie being an amazing mother, spending time with family, and promoting ‘Kylie Cosmetics’, she is still hated by a large chunk of the world and judged for every tiny thing. Specifically, she gets judged a lot for what she decides to post on her social media accounts. She is always being accused of photoshopping, posting too many selfies, or posing in revealing and “inappropriate” outfits. Meanwhile, her sister, Kendall, is a professional supermodel who poses in revealing and risky outfits as well, and sometimes even nude, but she seems to get praised for it, while Kylie gets judged.

Kylie Jenner’s whole life has always been seen by the public eye. From childhood, to teenage years, to motherhood, everyone is always watching and has something to say, but Kylie is the least deserving of the tremendous amount of hate that this family receives because she does nothing but mind her business and focus on family and business.
