The Ghosts Season 4 Finale Will Be “Really Troubling” According To Star

The Ghosts season 4 finale is going to be “really troubling” according to star Sheila Carrasco, who hints at what’s going to happen. There have been multiple important developments throughout Ghosts season 4 that have changed the dynamics between various residents at the Woodstone B&B. This includes Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) unlocking her power of being seen by the living on St. Patrick’s Day, and Sass (Román Zaragoza) getting a new love interest in Joan (Taylor Ortega). Season 4’s penultimate episode will introduce a character named Kyle (Ben Feldman), who can also see spirits, just like Sam (Rose McIver).
Speaking with ScreenRant, Carrasco, who portrays Flower, teased the final episode of Ghosts season 4 will be “really troubling.” The actor explained how the season finale will end on a cliffhanger, one that will leave the fate of some characters up in the air. She teases the return of Matt Walsh as Elias Woodstone, Hetty’s husband who currently resides in Hell, while also teasing Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) book will be involved too. Check out what Carrasco had to say below:
The finale is going to be really troubling. It’s going to end on a really big cliffhanger, and you’re going to want to know that everyone is okay, and that everyone will be okay. It’s also not going to be like any other cliffhanger we’ve had. I think it’s already been teased, but Matt Walsh is involved, so it’s going to be juicy. It’s a good one. And also, there’s going to be a really fun reveal of Isaac’s book.
What Carrasco’s Description Means For Ghosts Season 4’s Final Episode
The Season Finale Will See A Big Danger Come Back
Elias’ return is important for the final episode of the season, as it has plenty of implications for the characters in Ghosts. While in Hell, Hetty’s husband was made into a demon by the Devil, collecting souls while also being able to physically appear in modern clothing. He appeared earlier in season 4 to proposition the below-ground location to multiple characters, including Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar). Given his involvement in the final episode, it seems like his attempt to get other spirits to join him might be part of the trouble.

As for Isaac’s book, it’s unclear what could be next for it now that it’s been approved by a publisher who is interested in telling his life story. It seems like it could have important implications for Ghosts season 5 depending on how the book shapes up in the season 4 finale. The long-term consequences that Carrasco teased indicate that both Hell and the yet-to-be-published book will have importance in the future beyond the upcoming episode. This could offer some major developments for multiple characters, and perhaps expand on the show’s world in the process.
Ghosts has already been renewed for seasons 5 and 6.
Our Take On Ghosts’ Big Season 4 Finale
Some World-Changing Events Might Transpire
With Elias playing a big role in Ghosts‘ season 4 finale, alongside his new role in Hell, it seems likely the former Woodstone owner is going to be involved in some characters coming back to the other realm with him. Whether this is of their own volition or not is unclear, but would be the perfect way to leave some fates up in the air prior to season 5. With a big cliffhanger for the sitcom looming, it sounds like this could be the most nail-biting season finale the show has ever produced.
New episodes of Ghosts air Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
