Ben Affleck appeared deep in thought as he stepped out in Los Angeles on Sunday, just days after reports surfaced that he and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez are at odds over selling their shared Beverly Hills mansion.
The Accountant 2 actor, who finalized his divorce from Lopez earlier this year, was seen carrying a manila envelope as he headed to his office. According to US Weekly‘s sources, the former couple is clashing over the sale of their luxury home, with Affleck eager to move on while Lopez believes they should hold out for a higher price.
The Beverly Hills mansion, which Affleck and Lopez bought together in June 2023 for around $60 million, hit the market in July 2024 for a steep $68 million. However, the real estate market’s current condition isn’t reportedly ideal, and buyers aren’t exactly lining up.
Affleck wants to sell the property quickly, even if it means lowering the asking price. “Ben just wants to get rid of it because their divorce is over, and he wants to cut all ties and have it be done,” the insider revealed.
The former couple’s split became official when Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, two years after their intimate Georgia wedding. Their split followed months of speculation, after a romance that reignited in 2021, nearly two decades after their original engagement fell apart.
