Does Baek-jin die in Weak Hero Class 2’s ending?

Yes, Na Baek-jin has died at the end of Weak Hero Class Season 2.

In the final episode of the 8-episode sophomore season, fans witness an ultimate battle between Eunjang High School and the Union. The fight happens in an open field between students of the Eunjang High, who are led by Baku, along with his friends, Si-eun, Gatok, and Jun-tae, as well as the Union and their leader, Baek-jin.

The fight ends with the Union getting shattered after Baek-jin’s defeat. However, the result of this match-up doesn’t seem to end well with the Union leader. Baek-jin’s funeral is attended by Si-eun, Baku, and others. Additionally, Baku, AKA Hu-min, can also be seen crying at the event. He remembers the early days of their friendship, before Baek-jin became a part of the Union.

The episode doesn’t directly reveal the culprit or cause behind Baek-jin’s death. However, the first post-credits scene suggests that CEO Choi is the killer. In this scene, CEO Choi, who is Cheongang’s leader, asks Seong-je to take over the Union, however, he denies.

Furthermore, by the end, the episode shows a reunion between Si-eun and none other than Ahn Su-ho. The latter wakes after a year-long coma.
